A professional writer and journalist, John is credited for having paved the way for the publication of the original Just a Minute articles in 1991 while President of a major rural newspaper corporation. Since then, he has written many hundreds of articles which have received wide circulation and acclaim. for their spiritual insights. John says he had been a follower of Jesus "pretty well most of his life" but there came a point when he went from "knowing about God" to actually "knowing God." This revolutionary turn of events turned John from being a passive receiver of God's grace to becoming a "co-worker" with Jesus to help foster the Kingdom of God. on Earth and to lead people to Jesus wherever possible. John's deep intimacy with the Father has incensed many of the "legalists" and he has under gone much suffering at their hands.
